I got into work late last Thursday and didn't get my usual parking spot. Instead parked close to the building where there is a pretty sizable hedge. 7 hours later I came out to find my helmet had been condominiumized by the locals:
My fault for leaving my face shield open but I always leave it up to air out the stink. I wanted to be mad but just couldn't get over the impressive amount of work that had been accomplished in such a short time.
I tip my hat to you Momma bird.

I know, he should have donated that helmet to the birds. Would have been the only DOT approved safety nest!

I've never understood leaving your helmet with the bike unless you put it in a hard case. I don't trust people. Some of the things I've heard happening to helmets are unlikely to occur at the office (vomit or pee) but I wouldn't have expected to have birds living in my helmet at the end of the day.

I've heard of helmets getting stolen. I've never heard of someone peeing in/on a helmet. That is pretty terrible.Marylander wrote: ↑Tue Apr 03, 2018 5:37 am I've never understood leaving your helmet with the bike unless you put it in a hard case. I don't trust people.
