Watched it last night.
My thoughts on this movie, FWIW

More riding, less commentary would have been nice.
Except for the guy from Jersey, these people are, well, hmmm, I'll be nice, they are not regular guys, like us.

Spraying deet on outer gear because of ticks :killingme:
To paraphrase, "single track paved roads", WTF
Do they know the difference between off-road/dirt vs gravel? Or is it a BMW thing?
And of course the "expert" thing :lol2:

All in all not bad.
Who's next?
I can mail it on or send it back to Ken.

good assessment. Look at the trailers for their other rides out west and you see they do know what off-road adventure riding really is. Not sure why they tried so hard to put lipstick on this pig--not to say it won't be fun and a good DS ride, but it ain't single track!

Jack is pretty cool. I've met him a few times. Ken and I sort of "pitted" with him in the SandBlast Rally a decade ago.

I agree with above statements. This is a neat route and will be really fun. But no need to make it sound like more than it is. I also hated them using the phrase "offroad".

You guys are making me think I need to ditch my D606's and get some TKC80 for this trip?

You could do the route on street tires and just be careful in the few spots.

I say keep the D606s and add some actual off road miles when doing the section around Bald Eagle (and other spots)

Why? 606's seem ideal. They are my go to, do it all DS tire.
