Drone filming

Post by Nobody » Sun Mar 04, 2018 10:05 am

I've received a promo DJI Mavic
Almost tempting. Luckily I've spent enough this month and will not buy :lol2: (yet :killingme: )

But wanted to ask if anyone has any experience filming offroad riding with smth like this? Would love to see how it works in real life. It says it has obstacle avoiding so probably you can even set it to follow in single trail. Or lead. And the price is just about the price for the camera + gimbal and the drone comes free
shit, no, I'm not buying, not today!! :whip: :lol2:

Yeah, probably. And since quite a few have got shotguns here, everyone is afraid to be the first to own a drone? :killingme:

So really there's no one with a good filming drone here?

I've got a cheap drone with camera in it  It was a gift a couple of years ago. I've tried to fly it twice, now it sits on the shelf.

I also have shotguns :lol2:

I've also got one of the cheapo ones. It does ok to play in the back yard, takes so so pics and video. A buddy I work with got a couple thousand dollar unit from his wife (good wife! ), that thing takes amazing video! He flies it out in the desert (lives in Vegas) and takes it up several thousand feet, flies it down canyons, etc. It's really cool!
F*** work.
