Re: Forbes article on KTM & Husky
SJ, finally coming around huh? The 18 300TE is a awesome bike. I got to ride my buddies for 3 hours in Kauai last December. I went with the KTM 300 XC-W over the Husky because I like PDS rear suspension and the Brembo brakes over the Magura's on the Husky.
Lots of cool bikes---
Re: Forbes article on KTM & Husky
My buddy in Bogota just bought a used 17 Husky 300 (with only 4 hours because the owner upgraded to the 18 300 with FI) and it's sweet! The price sucked though, almost 12k. The new one was just over 14k. Ouch.

DAMN! My Beta 300 was only $7800 out the door! With all the extras I've got about 14k in it.
F*** work.
Ride motorcycles.
Ride motorcycles.
Re: Forbes article on KTM & Husky
Colombia taxes the hell out of them so bikes are more expensive across the board.

I have never quite seen plastic explode like the Beta OEM's; it's almost like fission at the molecular level....
Re: Forbes article on KTM & Husky
I think that is $2K on plastic and another $4K on tubes.
