Loan/rent the bike
Loan/rent the bike
Guys, do you have any ideas where to get a bike for a day or smth? Anything more or less off-road capable with a 220lbs+gear rider would do.
I want my son to get a taste of it and would give him my bike, but need something to ride along. Even a big 650ies would be fine, I guess. Anyway it will be some relatively easy riding.
Preferably somewhere in between DC and riding areas.

Bring him to one of our rides, or the reunion. Plenty of bikes to borrow. I'd let you borrow my DRZ, not him

Re: Loan/rent the bike
Yeah, that was the idea, let him mess with my bike and I carefully ride a loaner :).
With rides there is a small problem, people usually ride their bikes

Could probably borrow my YZ250F, assuming nobody buys it first. Then again, folks haven't exactly been knocking down my door to do so

Janis, you, and your son, are welcome to use my DRz anytime. Just give me enough heads up to get it out of storage.
