February RAC - Sat 2/24
Re: February RAC - Sat 2/24
What is the latest plan? I am itching to get out.....
Re: February RAC - Sat 2/24
The plan is to ride! I talked about it Saturday with Jay and the weather looks good for hitting the trails Saturday.
F*** work.

65 degrees today and 71 tomorrow in Saint Clair, there is no doubt in my mind the snow and ice will be gone by Saturday. The only problem is right now they are calling for a 90% chance of rain on Saturday. Hopefully that forecast changes by the end of the week. Assuming it does, we usually meet at the Valley Road parking lot (Rt 901 S to left on Valley Rd) around 8:30am with kickstands up at 9.
I hear ya! After Motoramma last weekend and a month of watching SX, if I don't ride soon I am going to need to be medicated. Hopefully the rain cooperates, it would be good to ride with you and your gang of orange miscreants.

Man the weather looks like crap right now. Originally I had plans to ride a touch further north on Sunday. Based on the current forecast some of my normal guys are dropping like flies. If I do come on Saturday it would be just me. I will touch base a little later in the week with you guys to see what your plans are.
Thanks

Maps don't mean jack if trail are not marked.
From a marketing standpoint they need a marked trail system. How many guys over the years, me included, have been hesitant to go up there because you need somebody to show you around, need a GPS, etc, etc?

Are you guys still going?
Re: February RAC - Sat 2/24
I am.
Wingfixer hurt his back and his truck is broke and a couple of other excuses I can't remember....
The weather forecast looks only partly crappy; cloudy in the morning with a 50% chance of showers in the afternoon.
I haven't heard much noise from anybody else but I have pretty much resolved that I was going up any way and if nobody else shows up, just poke around and explore a little. Even if I get wet I will still be on two wheels....
