What plate? There is a piece of sheet metal propped up on an old coffee can to help direct the blower air out into the room. Maybe your talking about the pipe adapter? Originally was a fireplace insert & I didn't need an 8" flue.

The copper tubing was an experiment, used to be hooked to a bucket that I put used motor oil in which dripped on the wood. Made more heat but was a pain in the ass to regulate.

The cam marks should be level with head while at TDC. There not, need chain...

Image

And I'm not liking this cam lobe so much, not the greatest picture but the shiny one is starting to pit...

Pitting cams is why I sold mine with 30,000 miles on it. The starter and ecu failed on the next guy, but the motor still runs...

This one has 13,000 miles....

The new piston is 2mm larger. Max bore on stock sleeve.

Image

And the deck is .68mm taller.

Image

I'm taking out a good usable Weisco forged 101mm 8.7:1 cr which is the first oversize and up from stock 8.3:1 cr. An improvement over stock.

Image

Anybody want it let me know. You would need rings & new wrist pin clips would be a good idea.

That's all for now I'm going to research cams. I hope to pull the head apart within the next week, send my cylinder out to get bored & send my exhaust out for ceramic coating.
