External link handling

Is it hard to make all external links to open in a new tab? Wouldn't hurt much also for internal links if it is impossible to do it for external ones only.
I often loose my DAMN tab by opening some link and then closing that tab.

I searched and there is an extension that does that. I installed it - give it a try.

Does anyone find this objectionable?
