I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: Engine died - guess what is wrong?
Update:
Some type of oil pump failure. They are not exactly sure where it all started but an oil pump gear seized, scored the cases, metal shavings all throughout. Crank doesnt turn well. I would need a crank, bearings, cases, piston, gaskets, etc. Too much $ to be worth it.
I will be parting the bike out once I get it back later this week. If anyone is interested in anything, just let me know. Gonna start looking at new bikes that can dual sport.

sorry to hear that. If I wasn't cash strapped building a house I'd buy it to do an electric conversion.Madizm wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2017 5:05 pmUpdate:

Re: Engine died - guess what is wrong?
good one!
just curious how well he likes the case mod and how it runs. When I got the bike I didn't realize it only had 2 teaspoon oil capacity. 4 TSP if you include the separate gear case - what moron came up with that idea? The Blaise Racing case mod makes it so the crank case and gear case share the same oil. Solves other known problems too.
And no, I'm not planning on doing it.
