Was great to get out for a ride!

Ive seen other guys post pics of that War Correspondent's memorial near Gathlands State Park, but I had never been there myself.
Of course I have many times ridden the Poffenburger/Sumantown/Harley/BenniesHill Road area. But it had been a while and I was happy to get out there.

Nice. I rode there 10 years ago this December for the first time on my ST1100. There was snow on the grass at the time.

Cool, I've gone running out there (taking the appalachian trail from the c&o tow path). It's too bad we can't ride our bikes on the trail. ;) The switchbacks (which are tight when running/walking) would be a serious challenge on a bike.
