Andy Nelson's Barbeque

Post by kevvyd » Mon Jul 03, 2017 8:43 pm

I got put on to this recently. My bud insisted that we ride 45 minutes from home to go hit this BBQ shack up. And---I have been thinking of it ever since. Real old style, low-brow, BBQ joint. Been in business like 50 years or something, and it does not look like anything but the soda fountain has changed.
The wings are really renting space in my head still. They were un-sauced, just plain smoked till super tender, fall off the bone delicious. Add your own sauce from any of 6 types on the table. I also had an amazing brisket sandwich, great baked beans, and very good mac n' cheese.

I think I could have eaten 4 entree's but we arrived close to closing time and I had to wrap it up!
