Nah that's fucked up from one end to the other. The owner of the bike is expected to be charged over the death. That is good for no one.

Yeah, he should have just followed the guys and called the cops. Now he's looking at prison over a dirtbike. Not to mention the death of the guy and the injuries to the other, just a bad deal.

Yeah, I definitely understand the guy's perspective (I had two bikes stolen from my house in separate incidents and uprooted my family to get away from whoever was stealing my stuff). It is too bad that he will likely face incarceration. Of course, I also understand the law enforcement community's perspective on things like that. I must admit that I don't feel for the dead guy at all.
