Yeah, I had been thinking of waiting until retirement (<9 years) to buy something since I was expecting prices more like the EMs. For about $4k I could see getting an oset in a year or two.

MSRP of $4200 is a lot easier to swallow too. I didn't realize they were that cheap.

DAMN. Hurry up and get it Bucho. I might have to change my mind after riding yours.

Note that Oset says the weight limit is 198 lbs... Here's one time being little is a good thing. :killingme:

Think you will find the Sherco importer in Canada is the EM importer for North America.
RYP might be out of it as not even listed as a dealer.
Shoot the importer an email and ask what dealers have bikes also ask if any demos are scheduled. While attending a trials event in VA a few weeks ago they mentioned electric bikes were welcome. The nationals are making a class for the electric bikes also. With Torrot purchasing Gas Gas I would keep an eye out what they import to the US as they have been an established E-bike company.

the Tryals Shop in NY is a distributor and they have a trials school. I was thinking about buying from him if he'd throw in help setting up the bike and a class.

My hack won't sell anytime soon so I have time to wait and let the options settle out.

I just uncrated and put together a 2016 OSET 20.0 this afternoon.

These new ones are much nicer than the smaller older one I have (2011?).

Due to the rain, I only rode it for a few minutes in front of my house. But seems pretty cool, even pulling my 200+lbs around.
