I don't think he had them listed on his site last year either but he brought the trials model and the low front fender trail model (which I don't see on their site any more, maybe the escape replaced it). One of the participants in the school brought his own e-trek (high front fender trail model) that he let us ride too.

Re: Next purchase
A freeride, while not loud, isn't nearly silent. I'd like to have one of the electric bikes so I could do things like set up a course in the back yard without pissing off neighbors.

Lack of noise is the best thing about electric bikes by far.
People will hate dirtbikes a lot less if they cant hear them.

precisely. Although I've spoken with the neighbors at my new lot and they have no issue with bikes, no reason to antagonize them.

Re: Next purchase
MSRP of $4200 is a lot easier to swallow too. I didn't realize they were that cheap.

Where did you see that MSRP?Marylander wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 8:35 pmMSRP of $4200 is a lot easier to swallow too. I didn't realize they were that cheap.
I heard it would be a little higher in the $5K range, but that's the first actual number I've seen.
