While pulling the shocks for rebuild, I found this

For reference, the view is from the bottom and the rear of the bike is to the left.

I'm still hoping to have it back and running for the reunion.

Good find.

Just imagine if you were bouncing along GR with that crazy guy in the hack and it let go

Now that would have sucked.

You checked the rest of the frame right?

so far nothing but when we pull the motor it will get a thorough exam.

no - the shocks are definitely toast. They currently are in the trunk and tomorrow they become a guest of UPS until they arrive at MX-Tech.

Curtis Fisk has been doing my welding so far. I'm impressed. He also builds flat track dirt bike frames.
