300 exc bars

I was going to throw a new set of bars on the 300 I got from Phil, I'm not sure what size or bend/rise/etc. Any ideas?

Bars are a personal preference thing and kind of a pain in the ass to determine without trying a few sets ($$$).

To start with, does your bike have 7/8" or 1-1/8" bars? The former is one continuous diameter end to end and the latter is fatter in the middle where it clamps then tapers down to 7/8" where the controls go.

If you like the current bend, you could just put risers on to get more height.



I have a set of Pro-taper fat bars (kx high) and a set of Flexx bars (10* enduro high bend) I've loaned out for people to try if you have fat bars now.


My favorite bend bar is the oem bars on pre-ktm husky which were made by Magura. I like my bars to have an upward sweep and hate bars that are flat/have a downward sweep on them. Feels really weird.

Yeah, I remember now. I had to see what I ordered before. CR high is what I used last time. I can't remember if the 300 is fat or regular bar...it's at my SIL's house. I prefer a fat bar, this is for my son to ride, he doesn't know one from the other

Well, at least that ad says it has fat bars, so the year older 300 probably does too
