Its funny how your perspective changes with practice.
In the very early days of DAMN or in the year or two before. That section would probably have had me in tears.
Its still plenty hard to keep me on my toes. My goal now is to make it through standing on the pegs in one clean drive.

That does look better. I think that's the one where I just slid off the back of the seat. ;) One of these days when I've got a lot of energy I need to go out and just practice this sort of thing.

I'm starting to not mind rocks too much, but I still suck at hills with rocks on them.

While I don't think I can use parts to get around my missing skills I did just swap the stock size cam (100) in my throttle for the relaxed cam (400). Now I've got to get back out there in a couple weeks and see if I can tell the difference. I figure the kx is basically like an xtrainer/freeride/xride now... Yeah, that's it... ;)

Greenbrier is only a couple weeks away. Try it there.

You gotta remember ...I grew up and did most of my riding in the south, sand and mud. I don't even like rocks when I'm trail riding in my Jeep.
Funny, I don't mind rocks so much on the old Beta bike.

I don't think I would need a different throttle cam from stock for greenbrier. I'm considering doing it but haven't decided. I'd rather do a closed course PA (rocky) one.

Yeah, R&T club is heading to shade in mid-march and I'm probably going to do that...
