I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

The blue needle in the JD kit is a half step richer than the red. The colors indicate hot/cold.

Then it must be the blue needle I put in....they say that memory is the third thing to go...

Yeah a JD kitted FCR is as close to EFI you can get. Throttle response is surprising.
Re: Why I don't work on carbs
Runs much better at higher rpm's and is a bit more snappy.
Now to fix the stator issue

Re: Why I don't work on carbs
Related to the JIS screwdrivers Motion Pro now has some JIS bits in their product line up: 08-0576 (JIS 1), 08-0577 (JIS 2), and 08-0578 (JIS 3) plus a T handle set with 3 bits 08-0557. I've got screwdrivers but don't carry them on the bike. The bits will be better since they don't add much bulk and I already carry a bit driver.

I recently took carb off of my IT175 apart ...ooops
Luckily I have two and I think I'm good. Start and run test later.
