Perfect trails made for a great ride today, although the last loop got a little sloppy as things thawed out. New tires definately helped everywhere. Many thanks to our host.

The UPGRADED FrankenBeta 300 was REALLY fun at Boom Boom’s. The trails were a mix of frozen dirt, mud, snow and ice with the usual mix of angled logs and ditches. The ONLY problem I had was that I was unable to convince myself how much traction I had with the spiked tires so kept being too conservative. Traction was incredible! By the 3rd loop I was finally starting to realize that I just needed to relax lean over and gas it and it would go where pointed! Also the angled wet logs were NO PROBLEM as the spikes just dug in Also the new auto-clutch and LHRB were super

Plan on catching a couple loops this saturday morning (02-02-2013).
10 am start at the shop parking lot.
Should be nice and firm (friday night calling for teens to single digit temps) and warm to just above freezing by noonish.
Added a couple more small sections that needs ridden in, made sure I have a few logs in them for you "log lovers".
