To anyone arriving after dark either Friday or Saturday, be sure you know how to get to the lower camping field. It can be difficult in the dark if it's your first time. Another thing to remember if this is your first visit, is that you need to bring you'r own water. Also, we will have a porta john at the lower field for our use.

Okay, change of plans for me. I have unexpected plans in Baltimore at 7:30p so I need to leave early afternoon.

Because of this, I now plan on arriving around 5p on Friday with my son. I probably won't be riding on Friday, but I would most likely want to get some riding time in the field for my boy (if he wants to). ...Is there a night ride planned for Friday? Is that even possible/allowed there? If so, count me in!

Unfortunately, no night time riding on the property. And yes, the lower lot is much more protected from wind, and a little more secluded.

Glad you and your boy will be there on Friday. Our kids can play together that evening.
