Insane gas prices. Highest I remember. I'm sure $4.00 is coming :screwy:
Not meant to be political...but these prices hurt. I'm fortunate that I have a 35-40 mpg car to drive, as does wifey.

Filling up the truck to haul the bikes somewhere is prohibitive...yeah I know- ride there :ride: The XR4 ain't getting very far, very fast :lol2:

Because of the nature of my schooling I can't two wheel it to my clinical sites very often, but I take the RT as much as I can. On short trips to the store I sometimes dispense with ATGATT, it's a convenience thing. A choice I make.
Hell, cutting the grass may have to wait-I got an acre and that's going to add up :lol2:

How about y'all?
Fewer trips planned? Two wheeled commutes?
Just my way of griping and ruminating a little. I never thought I'd see four dollar gas. :boohoo:

I was in California last week and saw $5.11...... Yeah, I'm trying to figure out a way to take the bike to work. Just gotta figure out if I can find a safe place to let it sit for a week at the airport.

I drive a KLR250 to work (wife's bike), gets 65mpg. It gets parked in a shipping container for safe keeping. I have been driving 2 wheels to work all winter. :rickey:
