2012 DAMN Hatfield and McCoy Trip - April 19-22

OK, just finished making reservation with the owner at www.splitpinelodging.com
This is only a couple miles from the trail head.
I reserved all 3 units they have (farm - white - bunk house)
The w/e we picked was the only date that was not booked yet.
The reservations are for Thursday night thru Saturday night.
At this time I have 5 guys comming with me and with the "IN" DAMN riders list we still have 3 beds available. After that it will be dibs for couch and floor space.
If you are thinking about going, get your name to the "IN" list.
Phoo, you NEED to give that 300 a proper work out.
Bonehead, tons of 650 friendly riding also.
Owner said firewood will be supplied for the firepit
Pending final head count will establish final cost per person per night, should be around $30-$35 per person per night.
Gas grill available or local eating establishments about a mile away.
Buffalo Mountain has everything from hard core single track to good flowing green level trails, 3 different trail head towns available to ride into for fuel and food, good fun..............

I probably have one other guy coming. If we run out of beds I don't mind sleeping in my van. I'll still chip $, I'd like to still take a shower and stuff.

RV sites are available for $25 per night for anyone wanting to drag a camper.

When doing bed count I did not include the upper bunks of the bunk beds, that adds 5 more beds.
Also a couple couchs and plenty of floor space.

I have a ton of traveling in march, all pleasure, and almost all of it not including the wife, so I have to figure out the right moment to spring another long weekend away shortly thereafter. I think work may start to wonder a bit, too.

I am going to leave Maryland Thursday morning an come home Sunday. Any one that wants to team up I have a space in the truck for one more bike and access to a trailer if more want to truck-pool down.

Drive down there on Thursday (19th), ride Friday Saturday, and drive home on Sunday (22nd).

If had the thought of staying one more night, riding Sunday too and driving home Monday morning if anyone else would be interested.
