I'm importing the first part of the AA section now so it'll be ready for me to edit tonight!

Good thing I bailed out instead of riding that AA section with y'all the second time. Not that I could have by that point. But I just finished my post ride bike R&R and discovered that I came home on 2 sprocket bolts.

So I would have ended up in the back of a truck with a ruined hub like Bucho if I had tried to go much further. Fortunately I rode the trails back at sight seeing speed because I think somebody forgot the loctite in their rush to get ready.

"Extended director's cut" version is done -- 13:38 long. Now I need to cut it down to "Web size" aka "ADD length," which is 2-5 minutes.

Some highlights include you three crossing the stream, the long uphill, Grreatdog's bike on its side, and later watching him do some fantastic rodeo riding back and forth across the trail. I also have a good shot of BigBird go up the first part of the long uphill.

I ended up just going with the second half of the AA section, starting with the river crossing. The lens was super dirty and maybe also foggy before I cleaned it while stopped in the river and honestly the footage wasn't all that compelling and the video was way too long with it. The second half (and this video) starts with watching the other guys cross the river then the very long uphill and some fun stuff including coming up on Grreatdog with his bike on its side and toward the end has him riding a rodeo going back and forth across the trail three or four times.

If you hang on for the end, I actually make an appearance.

Under 6:00 in length, in glorious 1080p HD.

The video is still processing atm, but it should become available here:

Enjoy!

Oh. By "no action on your part" they meant "our sniffers found copyrighted materials in your video and have made it private." I was hoping they would just automatically add a link to the name of the song and the artist like I see on other videos. :dirtdog:

I'll find another solution, because I really liked the way the song I used lined up and I put a lot of time into its placement, trimming the video to make things fit just right.
