So I'm assuming that means get there by 0730-0745, so there is time to refuel tiny dualsport tanks and be kickstands up by 0755 or so?
HHR has been quiet on the subject.

I'll meet you there 0730-0745ish

I just made 5lbs of The Dude's Jerked 'Loins. Gets a little better every time - this has just the right salt content, but a little thick in places. I'll bring plenty to share. :brows:

I'm packing light. I have a $10 fleece blanket roll from Wal*Mart, my trusty Hennessey Hammock (can be used as a bivy on the ground), a ThermaRest pillow, two MRE's, a CamelBak Mule, a pint of Gentleman Jack, and a change of underwear/socks. Plus whatever tools came with the bike. Anymore weight than that and the 950 wants to :roost:.

Should be fun!

My favorite brain surgeon just gave this OLD Geezer on Medicare the OK to resume dirt bike riding!!!
But he told me NOT to try to keep up with BUCHO - because every time I do I end up with broken ribs (March 25 & April 3) or a broken head requiring emergency brain surgery (May 31).

SO I'm in for the 777 ride this weekend!

I'd like a room at the motel but they are full. If anyone has a room they have to cancel out on please let me take it off your hands. OR if anyone has a room with an extra bed available I'd be happy to pickup the full motel bill for the room. Otherwise I'll figure out some way to strap my old tent and gear on the WR250R.

Also, I live on the mountain between Frederick & Middletown - just 20 minutes from the POR start and have a spare bedroom + plenty of spare carpeted floor space upstairs that any of you DAMN folks are welcome to crash in Friday night!

See you Saturday!

See earlier email about no internet access at work.. I can read on my phone but it's not easy to post very often...

I have a room at the hotel - I will confirm this tomorrow, but I think it's got a 2nd bed or at very least it's a place to store stuff... I am ready to start loading up my bike - but haven't had a chance to do the T-Mod yet - shouldn't be a big deal I have the part (2 in fact) - it's getting the time... Spousal unit is in training and I have dad duty till like 9 - 10 at night... It's NOT stopping me either way...

The idea is to be moving by 8 from the POR as we have some distance to cover... I would plan on being there by 745 for a quick meeting - and then poof... Remember that we are NOT going down 15 for a long ways.. The first stop to pick up any late folks will be 45 miles away - you don't need a full tank - but you definately need to do at least 50-60 miles) If for some reason, you wind up missing or not making it by 8am - call me 443-878-5241... We can wait a bit - but if your going to be more that 15 mins late you can meet us up further down the road at Waterloo..

Which is here

Image

I figure it offers two seperate choices - if your not too far behind - you can take the same basic route and take 7 west to 340 south to where it meets 17/50 (The group will be turning left off of a 7 and running down tilthammer by the river to 17/50 and coming into Waterloo from the east and turning south on 340 - after we take a quick break at the sheetz)

There is a sheetz we will stop for a drink and to top off for fuel.. If your running significantly late and coming from the north near frederick - you can take 340 all the way down to this point...

I've attempted to attach a simplified version of the roll chart that may be easier to use.

I just did some editing on the master version from post 1 in the thread

I can't guarantee accuracy but it should be pretty good.

Glad to see you coming along Sam. Nice rollchart, for some reason my computer can read that one.
