I will say that the picture of the faux DOT half shell is really, well ironic?

A couple of weeks ago a local school teacher was riding pillion and was killed when three bikes (part of a large group ride) had a chain reaction crash.

Also, two 20 yo's died locally when they hit a downed tree at 10PM.

Be careful out there.

The cause is still under investigation.

The photo of the van completely across the yellow line in the oncoming lane and the fact is was a head-on collision give me a pretty good idea what the cause was.

This is caussing quite a stir on the local blogs. The van was impacted on three sides, so it would seem as if after the(presumed) head on it rotated and collected the other bikes.
