I'm selling my 2004 DRZ400S. I'd consider partial or full trade for a KTM EXC. Looking for 4000 dollars. The only reason I'm selling this bike is because I'm looking to do less of the AMA dual sport rides and start doing enduro's and harescrambles. I've owned it sense september of 2007 it has always had motul full syn 4t oil used changed about every 1000mi's. The factory trip computer broke on my last ride. The bike has around 5900mi's on it give or take 100. This bike has been 100% reliable for me, always starts right up and has never left me stranded any where.

The only reason I'm selling it is to get the lighter more single track friendly KTM and I can't justify having 2 dirt bikes to myeslf. Hopefully this bike goes to a good home becuase I'm going to miss it :cry: .

Motor:
  • FCR-39mx Carb
  • JD Jetting Jet Kit
  • Yoshimura RS2 Exhaust System with Insert (passes AMA sound check)
  • 3x3 Airbox mod
  • Heavy Duty Moose racing clutch with steel plates only has 3 rides on it, primany nut fix done at same time
  • 14 tooth front sprocket
  • Primary Drive o-ring chain with ~1000mi on it
Suspension
  • Front and rear race tech springs, setup for a 220-250lb rider
  • Both front and rear serviced and fluid changed January 2008
Rider Controls
  • Protaper Contour Pastrana FMX Oversized Bars (less sweep narrower and taller)
  • Shaved seat foam to reduce standover height
  • Larger pegs installed (increase comfort and control when standing)
  • Scotts Steering stablizer sub mount triple clamp (increases bar height, I will be keeping the damper itself but you can purchase one for 330 dollars from Scotts)
  • New grips
Tires
  • MT-16 Front (perhaps the best tire ever)
  • Dunlop D606 Rear
  • UHD tubes
  • Both tires are DOT and only have ~800mi on them
  • Front and rear rim locks (tires are balanced)
Protection
  • Thumper Talk Skid Plate
  • Thumper Talk Case Guards
  • Don't rember the brand, but they are beefy radatior guards
  • Tusk Hand Guards
Other
  • clarke Gas Tank (holds around 4 gallons)
  • Steel Shift Lever
  • stainless Steel Front Brake line
