Not of my money. Contact is the generic version...engine is ok but suspension if very low end....tube type crap non radial tires. Till you make it decent you are where you can get a ride ready bike. Plus till the smoke clears on if Gas Gas will come back after the 6 month shuts down or goes up in smoke I am not investing any funds. Just my $.02. If you have 4k you can find a nice modern ride. Think I helped hook up a half dozen guys this spring all in that price range.

I have my '05 Beta ($2150) and '16 Sherco Factory ($5k) for sale. If you buy both it averages to less than $4k each :jack:

I wouldn't mind having another Rev 3 but I'm a pussy needing electric start hence my question about the GG contact bike. Looks like for trials I have the Tenaciously Wong chinese bike for $6k or the TRS for $9K...

A Xtrainer just popped up but Im thinking its too close to my old 300 XCW

They had both the e-start TRS and TW at trials training days.
The TRS would be the lightest and best suspension bike of you options. Contact Aaron or Andy Miller at Miller Trials Ranch for a true quote. If you like 4 stroke the TW is a far better bike than the public wants to give credit. Mike Komer at Trials Shope in NY is the contact for the TW. I did not get to ride the TW but done a couple classes with the owners of the TW bikes and was impressed with how well they ran, far less complex FI system then what Honda / Montesa is using. If I wanted a e-start bike more for playing around, vintage events and say INT and lower class riding the TW value is had to pass up. It does have a little bark to the exhaust tone but very reasonable unless you are hard on the throttle. I do have a friend with the e-start GG and he likes it, started every time he hit the button. If you know of one at a great price then might be the bike for you. Just know it will have non radial tires that are tube type and other cost cutting items.
