I live on a steep hill and never had any trouble getting up the hill.
So what happened that one day at the Cove? :killingme: :lol2:

The fuel mileage is a contributing factor in why I sold my Xterra. It sat around 15-17 mpg. My Excursion when it had the V10 was getting 13/14. Twice the truck and only slightly less fuel mileage? Plus no need for 2 suv's? Bye Xterra.

Heh, yeah, that was the final motivation for replacing the worn out tires that were on it at the time. I don't really know that tires would've made a difference in that case though as it was ice and I was going too fast.

I've really been liking the v6 1500 I've got. I know many will wonder what's the point of a v6 in a truck but it has enough capacity for things I need. It's got more HP than the 78 f150 and the 87 c10 I had before combined (both of them v8s, 302 and 305) and has plenty of torque for what I do. The thing can get 27mpg on the highway (I averaged just a little under that when driving to north carolina) and I've been averaging 22-24 in typical use.
