Xtrainers haven't been out for very long and everyone I know that has one, loves it. But, you can keep an eye out here: http://www.betarider.org/forum/viewforu ... 318f64087a that might be your best bet. You could also call these guys: http://www.southmountaincycleshop.com/ that's where I got my 300. Great couplea guys, great shop!

Like Patrick said, its rare to find a used one on the market.
I did see an almost brand new one for sale in the ADVrider fleamarket sometime this past year. It got snapped up imediately.

If you want an Xtrainer you can keep your eyes peeled, but you will probably have to buy a new one.
If you are just looking for a very light weight dirtbike that can be tagged, then you have some options. Pretty much any of the eurobrand 2Ts can be tagged. The Betas have lower seat heights and seem to have mellower powerbands than KTM.

I dont know much about the Shercos. But their bikes are very light. I think one or two guys on the board have or have had one. Maybe they can chime in.

I know a guy with a Sherco 250 SEF-R that probably wouldn't take much to talk him into selling it....

I thought you had your heart set on a 350 EXC?

What about AJP? They're not that expensive new and they offer low seat height bikes.

If you really want a small, light bike, get one of the Cleveland Cyclewerks FXX bikes

One method I have seen. You convince someone with a new Xtrainer to store at your house. Maybe they are going out of town for a week or a year, and you tell them you will keep it fresh for them  . Then you ride it a whole lot while they are away. :whoop: When they come back, they think the bike is too used :dirtdog: and decide to sell it to you for a fare price based on the wear and tear  It the best of all worlds.

Someone I know can speak to this, Although this kind of S### never happens to me :censored:

And.... ditto :deal:

On the other hand, my Freeride is tagged and very light.
Too bad it's not a "dirt bike". :lol2:
