My trusty old 99 300 2T is up for sale. With a new bike in the garage I kinda thought for a while at least Id keep it as a backup bike and/or one to loan out as needed.
At the same time Im extrememly broke and some cash in my pocket would really help me out at the moment.
99 KTM300exc, I bought this from boomboom back in fall of 2010 I think. It has been a great bike for me. Ive used it for trail riding, dualsport events, and a few enduros.
I put a fresh gnarly expansion chamber on it this spring.
It is not a pretty bike. The seat has a tear in it. (Can be seen in photo). The rear wheel bearings will need replacing (still has a few rides left in it). The last guy to ride this bike thought the rear brakes "were shot". Im not sure if I agree with his opinion, though I never use much rear brake when I ride.
It does have a MD street title.
Anyway, with some minor TLC this would be a great bike for someone.
$900. And if it doesnt sell, at least now I have room to keep it.

Those front forks were the last of the great WP conventional forks.....loved them.
