Truck Motor and tires for sale

Post by Rut Row »

For sale! Nearly new Chevy 350 motor and 4 nearly new tires! $1000 OBO

Image

The motor is a Chevrolet Performance 350 C.I.D. VIN Code K Engine, 2-Bolt Main with less than 3,000 miles on it. I bought the motor new as a long block from Summit Racing. Wingfixer (with supervision by me) installed it in my truck July 2014. This is not a remanufactured motor. It is a genuine GM Goodwrench new motor. See http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-12568758

It comes with four (4) nearly new Goodride LT245/75 R16 All Terrain tires with less than 2,000 miles on them.

As a bonus, you also get the truck! It is drivable but the transmission is shot (won't shift into second - goes straight to third). The frame has been welded too so this truck is scrap.

and you also get this one-of-a-kind decal on the glove box door.

have no idea. Right now I can't afford a truck payment. I may be truck-less next year.

I can get around town okay. I only have 1st and 3rd. No way I'm driving it very far.

I'm trying to convince my bride it is time to tap the 401(k) and get a Ram 3.5 diesel crewcab. That is one advantage of being over 62.

Cheaper than a new truck
except I have a 4L60E not a TH400. Cheapest one I've found is about $1,600 shipped plus beer/pizza for you. I'm thinking the truck isn't worth another $2K. It wasn't worth putting a new motor in after we found the rusted out frame members.

the truck may have gotten a reprieve. I found a used transmission at a local auto salvage for $500.

Wingfixer has volunteer (for a slight fee) to supervise me installing it. :whip:

besides, replacing this was going to be hard :killingme:
