Hmmmm.... not what I had in mind for my Top Secret project, but since I had a 72 Triumph, I wouldn't mind having another - how much?

I probably couldn't part with it. Too much sentimental value. I think teethgrinder has some basket case type projects around though.

I do have a 1994 Ducati 900 SS that is in pretty good shape. I would part with it for $3K. It has a fresh motor. It would need a battery and just a little bit of work to get it running since it has been parked since early 2006.

I'm looking for a dual-sport type bike similar to the DR or KLR. Fast bikes scare me so no Duc in my future!

I gotcha. Was mostly making idle conversation on a bone cold winter eve.

PS-air cooled 2 valve Ducs really aren't that fast. :lol2:

Come on Ken! A KLR based enduro sidehack powered by a 900cc Ducati Twin, that would be pretty cool.

Hmmmm.... :brows: :brows: :brows:

It would indeed. Would have to build an entirely new frame, but we could cut off the original VIN and weld it into the new frame.

Hmmmm.... :brows: :brows: :brows:

mdubya - is there much market for the rest of the bike? Could I part it out?

Hmmmm.... :brows: :brows: :brows:

There is a market, not sure how lucrative.

Here is a 900SS side hack:
