My Dad is selling his 1979 Honda XR500. He just rebuilt the motor with a Wiseco 10.5:1 compression piston and had the gas tank re-painted. He is only the second owner of the bike, and it has 6,900 miles on it. Other upgrades include a Supertrapp exhaust, Mikuni VM38 carb, skid plate, XL500 headlight, and rear fender bag. He has a clear Maryland title (street title - you can get it plated).

I love it! I don't have any need for it, but it sure is cool. I had a '79 XL500 for a while and had a ton of fun with it. This would be a really cool retro dual sport.
