Pulling battery on Freeride
Re: Pulling battery on Freeride
No problem with the battery. I just know that it accumulates mud down there and the terminals are a bit corroded. I just want to clean it up before it gets cold.
That battery weighs literally, I mean literally, nothing.
I think they built the bike around the battery.

Wouldn't it be easier to take it out from the bottom?
You know, while the bike is upside down on the trail...

But you can't get to your tool kit without a tool! (I don't even have an integrated tool carrier, so I have to be jealous of yours.)Wingfixer wrote:
And I can get my seat off with out any tools...

On the plus side I can change brake pads without removing the wheels and the air filter is under the seat . Seat is a simple latch.
Tools? Who needs tools, it's a KTM.
And my riding buddies carry tools.

OR you could clean your Freeride battery the EZ way!
My 2014 was the first one in the US and I've cleaned the battery zero times!
OFG = LAZY!!!
