KTM springs

Post by Laoch » Sun Aug 13, 2017 5:59 am

It's long past time for my slightly pudgy ass to re-spring the little Freeride, it's tired of hauling my big ass around on the 185 pounds stock set up. Yesterday I was bouncing like a p go stick.
The front compression ran out of room and the preload on the rear is tight. I figure I can just buy new fork/shock springs and do a swap, right? Change fork oil at the same time.
Looking below I should get the 95-105 spring. Is the shock spring progressive?

KTM FREERIDE 250 R 2014-2016
Fork spring Shock spring

Standard spring 38-425-4,6 61/59-215-(55/63/71)*
Rider weight

95-105 kg 5,0 61/69/77

115-125 kg 5,2 67/75/83
