Titamnium 4 exhaust Qs

Post by Laoch » Sat Mar 09, 2013 12:13 pm

I have an FMF titanium 4 on my KLX 400. My question is will this ( http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/ ... ore-Insert ) work?

I don't like the sound all the time and TJ is gonna use the bike for an ERC course at Quantico - I don't want him popped for dumb shit.

I need this too, or do I? - http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/ ... 4AodMBAADA

Or just this https://www.denniskirk.com/447679.sku?u ... OgodayYAlQ

And the current end cap has two pop rivets holding it. I have the stock exhaust, maybe I should just stick that back on? But will the affect he current jetting etc? DAMN kids.

My DR has a TwoBrothers exhaust. It was kinda loud. I tried two different quiet tips before I found one I liked. The first one I tried sounded exactly the same to me. It probably was quieter when I was at full throttle, but I wanted it quieter at idle when I rolling real slow in and out of my nieghborhood.

Get a good quiet tip and I wouldn't worry about the screen.

TJ is gonna have it on base for a while and I don't want him cracking the throttle and giving the MPs a reason to pull him over. I'll try the quiet core.
