The locking gas cap on my Kawasaki Concours was sticking real bad last time I gassed up. So bad it bent my key a little bit to turn the lock and open it. So I thought I would get it opened here at home. Take a look at it and clean it up a bit.
However, I snapped my key off in the gas lock. Nothing to grab w/ fingers or needlenose plies to pull it out.
I think its the only key I have. (if I ever did have a spare key, I can't remember what I did w/ it.)
Any thoughts?

try a dab of superglue on the end of a metal rod/clothes hanger/etc

Turn the bike upside down and shake it 
A blast of WD40 would likely loosen up the lock. If it had happened on my FZ1 I'd stick what's left of the key in the lock and get the cap open. There's a couple of screws on the underside of the cap that hold the lock assembly in the cap. I'd pull out the assembly and go to a locksmith with it.

How about using an acetelene torch to burn a hole in the gas cap so you can get it off?

Those are some really creative answers....I would stick with buy a new bike, primarily my 09 Concours...you dont have a key, so you dont have to worry about that happening again.

You forgot about "convert it to coal power" however, the downside is the coal bin that you'd have to add and the shoveling while riding that you'd have to do.
