POS Concours

Anyone have a first generation Concours, ZG1000?
I can't for the life of me get the front wheel back on. I can't push the front axle through far enough to start screwing it in. I've changed the front tire once before and I remember it being a total pain in the neck and taking me forever.

Does anyone have one of these bikes and know a trick?

No, but my brother has one. I'll have to keep this in mind when he needs a front tire. I'd help if you were a little closer, but it's a pretty good hike to get there.

A fellow damnrider came over and helped keep it lined up so we could pound it w/ hammer till it worked.
