
That thing was pretty well abused and it had some deep cuts in it and a few items embedded in the tread which surprised me that it still held air. I guess a fast run across Dolly Sods last evening on a bald rear tire and with dry, rocky, exposed conditions at the Sods prolly wasn't the smartest thing to do. Fun though.
Front tire looks great. Too bad it is the wrong brand.


If you are going to change a tire manually and without a valve stem tool (long story), you should wait for the hottest day of the year. It actually went easier than expected and I didn't have to dig as deep into my foul language vocabulary as I anticipated.
