I'm not qualified enough to label myself as a dirt biker yet, so I'll just say I'm a long time mountain biker/racer who recently bought a dirt bike and is steadily working to stay upright on rocks, big logs, and knee deep mud. Didn't take long for me to get completely hooked though. Pictured, after a recent rocky, muddy ride at The Cove.

The Cove is a cool place, I finally made it out there this year. Not a very noob friendly place for dirtbikes. If you can survive there, you are doing very well.

Beckyb, WELCOME, BUT I think you posted in the wrong thread because you DEFINATELY don't have an Ugly Mug :lol2:

If you can make it to Granville (Jim Ratino's western MD place) this weekend you can take my Frankenbeta for a ride and you'll LOVE it. WAY easier to ride than even your 230 and much lighter! Sort of like a mountain bike with a motor

I'm the OLD FAT guy that you may have seen riding a single or a tandem at the Frederick Watershed.
