My 2008 Yamaha WR250R was stolen from my driveway in Frederick last week which is REALLY annoying because I had almost $5K worth of upgrades on it and is was dialed in PERFECTLY!
I'm offering a $1,000 Reward for it's Return! VIN JYADG21E28A001008 -- Call 301-788-8848
IMS 3 gal. Tank, Rick Mayer seat, FMF Q4 w MegaBomb & PCV Autotune O2 sensor, Revloc, LHRB, Tubliss, etc., etc.
So now I need to decide (quickly) whether to get another WR250R and replicate the upgrades OR to try something else?
The ONLY thing that wasn’t perfect on the WR was that it was a little heavy (275 w/o gas, etc.) and a little more power would be nice so I could keep up with the BIG bikes on really fast fire road climbs and on the highway.
The beauty of the WR was that it has a REALLY wide ratio 6 speed that would let me crawl in the tight stuff and cruise at 70 on the highway (top speed is near 80)
SUGGESTIONS APPRECIATED!!!

That sucks! One thing though, if anybody that has ever ridden with you sees it there will be no mistaking it. I hope you get it back in one piece and the fuckers that took it aren't.

Sam,
Keep an eye on ebay and CL. Thieves are not always the smartest bunch. I hope they get theirs in the end....

I hate thieves ....
I'll start watching CL for bikes/parts..
hopefully they will get caught...
Also fWIW - friend had a drz stolen and found it in a ditch not too far away... If some hooligans stole if for joy riding, it's possible they dont really know how to ride and it's stuck somewhere..

You know - - i'm thinking about "what's an easy way to keep a-holes from stealin our stuff?" The best ways I can think of....when the bikes just sittin for awhile, unplug the spark plug or get one of those quick disconnect gas lines and keep it unplugged?
