Ride report GC 5/19
Ride report GC 5/19
I finally got back to Garrett County last Saturday night. One phone call from TyMarp today was all it took to get me out on the DRZ for a beautiful evening's ride. Perfect is the only way to describe the Garrett County weather this late afternoon. We rode Savage River Road at a very reasonable pace (I promise ). The only acting up came when a guy at a campsite made the univiersal wheelie sign to me. Of course, I had to oblige with a 2 gear minger. Up on top of Savage Mountain, Tim let me have a go on his screaming Kawi green Versys. What a neat bike. Smooth and good handling. Great seat. And it looks awesome in that Kawasaki green. We pulled over along the road to debrief on the test ride and to catch up on a winters worth of life. Good times. Days like today make all the thoughts of the miserable winter melt away.
