I think I'd said something to a couple of guys here about getting up to FRO tomorrow. Since this is the first ride of the year for my daughter, I think we're going to run down to Budds Creek and let her ride with some of her friends tomorrow. This will be the first time she's been on the Sur Ron out in the wild and I'm hoping this can be a good experience for her until I can find the right dirt bike.

We had a nice ride today. Almost too warm. Im starting to miss the 50 degree afternoons. Jed brought out his new bike. A 350 katoom!
We did some trail riding, cut a few downed trees, and rescued Sam from a hill climb where he took a line that went from bad to worse.

But first I got to shoot this sweet Garand in the morning.

Tough spot. Hop the first log and it is barely more than a bike length till the second log. Not easy.

This hill is tough if you lose momentum or get offline into the loose stuff
