Yesterday, Ken and I went over our bikes and spooned on some new knobbies. I also went down one tooth on the front, hopefully that helps.

No kidding, I got a brand new one a week or so after the Day of Many Bumps Starts.
I wonder if its possible to add a kickstarter from one of the older pre-1996 DRs that were kick only.

Though I did clean out my carb and found one of the plungers was sticking, which was making my bike die almost everytime it was idling w/ no throttle.
So if I could get it started, it now would at least idle no problem.

I can't do it, once again fatherhood has gotten in the way of my DAMN fun. This clearly has not been a good riding season for me.

Don't worry about it Chris. Just try to think about this in a few years. You'll have not one, but two little nagging women, "take us riding Dad", "yeah Dad take us out to ride our mini bikes!"

yeah, if the boys are like their dad, they'll ride a lot, and crash a lot. Watching them ride will be a hoot.

Nothing better than a KTM 50... they're like a chainsaw engine on steriods. Unbelievably fast for a 50, but very high maintenece to keep 'em running perfect. It's worth it though, the bikes are amazing for their size.Kyler wrote:Talk to gtop - and you'll be an expert at mini-bike repair!
