Had a pretty good ride today in the snow. I did have some trouble with traction. Sam’s SurRon had some sort of magic combo that worked WAY better than me. He kinda kicked my butt on this ride.
At end of day I pulled out the buggy and got a good start on a new trail up to top of property.
Phil the compound in those radial trials tires are only good for a couple years. You can have a new tire that may be 5 years old and is long past prime. Then add in cold temps and the knobs no longer flex. When you find a nice log burn the tire in with 3rd gear and get some heat, that helps. If your tire has age and rounded edge now is a good time to cuts a fresh face. Front tire is not radial and works just like any other tire in the snow.
