My wife is having a minor surgery on Wed. If all goes well, I'll be there. If not, it will be a last minute cancellation. I'm planning on taking my KTM 450. Is that the right bike? Otherwise I have to spoon some new rubber on my spare KLR rims.trialsrider wrote:Ken,

I am planning on taking my KTM 450 also. From what I have heard, should be the right bike. I don't know anyone else who is going, so if you cancel, I may bag it also.

1, possibly 2 old guys on V-Stroms planning on going up. Course we'll be taking the 'adventure bike' bypasses around all the real fun stuff. Went last year and really enjoyed it. Only stayed Saturday last year, hope to do both days this year...

a 450 KTM is the perfect bike, this is a killer ride, easy but very fun with killer views and food, and there will be dozens of guys from MD etc, I may a last minute attendee but it dont look good.
Be prepared, if you go this year you will need to plan to go for the next several years, the ride, the fun and the people are just THAT good.
Saturday has more cool trail, Sunday is more open fire roads and views.
