It was a good ride! I don't have any pics, but Bucho does. It rained on us yesterday, and we only rode for the afternoon. Got back to the camp, cooked diner and while we were hanging out, it started raining and it rained hard last night! Got up today, it was sunny and perfect. We rode quit a bit of good ST and alot of nice forrest roads. The guy on the GS310 and the other young guy on the DR650 got a good break in today! It was pretty impressive some of the ST hills that were loose with rocks, roots and such, they rode those bikes up em!

Good fun. Poe Valley State Park is nice. Clean, large bathroom/shower facility. Managers are friendly and there is plenty of good stuff to ride within 5-10 minutes of the camp. You can bring the family and they can fish, or walk around the lake or take a canoe or kayak and paddle around while you go ride!

Yeah, it was really a good time. This was my first visit to BaldEagle State Forest and I was very impressed. I didn't realize there was offroad there to ride. Thought it was more just dirtroads. I wish it was a little bit closer, far enough it almost has to be an overnight trip.

I got in later on Thursday afternoon. The other guys had already returned from their ride. I went out on a solo exploration mission. I had done zero prep for this ride. I had planned on Bruce and Wes coming to lead us around...
I was totally surprised and happy to find these little signs.

Multiuse trails that also allowed hiking/biking/equestrian. We didn't see ANYONE on the trails the whole time we were there.

The larger trails had these neat little gates for motos.

I had a fun late afternoon by myself. I saw a small black bear, was really cool.

I came back and it was about dinnertime. Bill and Pat grilled up some burgers and brauts. We sat talking for a while and this little bugger was eating peanuts that Bill was throwing him.

The next day we went out for a nice ride.

Most of the trails were like this. Relaxed, relatively easy. You could cruise along sitting on the seat. Perfectly suited to big dualsports.

But some of the trails and/or sections of the trails were kinda challenging. New guys Kevin, and Chris did a great job keeping up. Chris wrung everybit of horsepower he could from that 310. Kevin learned that 25psi in his tires wasn't doing him any favors.

These were some tricky hills.
Steeper than it looks

After airing his tires down and taking a practice run. Kevin motored right up it.

A valiant effort was made and he got by with a little help from friends.
