Just posted on the ADV thread:

Sorry guys, been a little busy lately.

So, at the moment, Game on !

Caveat, this can all end an hour from now...

Email is forthcoming with a LOT of information so when you get it, read ALL of it.

Those not on the email list I'll post the info up here shortly after. It will also be available on the DVTR facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/dvt...v ... __tn__=C-R

The state of PA and the DCNR have set limits and guidelines and we are being forced to hold fast to all of them. At any point, the state and/or DCNR can decide to pull the plug, right up the the start of the event.

We've spent countless hours revamping the entire process, the ENTIRE event from beginning to end to make it happen. It HAS to happen this way or it's a no go so remember that when you see how things have changed for this year.

Thanks for your patience this year. Can the next pandemic be something that doesn't shut down the world please ? I just wanna ride.

Here's the email I got last night:

You are receiving this email because you expressed interest in receiving updates about the registration timeline for this year's Michaux Dual Sport. We are excited to announce that, as of today, the 2020 Michaux Dual Sport is ON!
Date: AUGUST 2020 16

We are thrilled to be riding with you through scenic Michaux State Forest on Sunday, August 16th, 2020. Please note that this year, due to state-mandated group size restrictions, we are limited to 200 riders. All riders must pre-register online.

REGISTRATION
There are two distinct online registration windows.
We want to be sure that many riders can get the opportunity to register, and oftentimes a one-shot registration window leaves out lots of folks.
The first registration window opens Wednesday, July 8th at 8pm, and will remain open until the first 100 tickets sell out.
The second registration window opens Saturday, July 11th at 12pm, and will remain open until the remaining 100 tickets sell out.

CHANGES
We are excited to announce that this year, we are hosting our event from the Shippensburg Fairgrounds! Bathrooms, showers, and lots of room for social distancing (and campers and trailers)!
We will NOT be hosting an Adventure Ride the day before the Dual Sport Event this year. Any forest road riding on Saturday is at your own risk. Anyone caught riding on single track or gated trails on Saturday forfeits their registration for the event.
Camping IS allowed Saturday night, August 15th. However, because of our strict 200-person group size, everyone staying at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds MUST be a registered rider. There will be no tickets sold for non-riders, and non-riders will not be able to be on-site at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds. We’re really sorry this has to be the case, and encourage anyone bringing their families to camp offsite at one of the many wonderful campgrounds local to our event.
We WILL work with attendees to practice social distancing and follow a COVID mitigation plan. Please see more details below.
To maintain social distancing, riders will be checked in as they arrive.
You WILL be required to disclose accurate bike registration and insurance information upon registration.
We will NOT serve breakfast or lunch this year. We’re bummed about this, but it’s a necessary change just for this year. Please pack your own lunch or stop for something along the route. At the halfway mark, you will have the option to ride the road back to camp ~10 miles, or continue along the route. Please pack in and pack out anything you enjoy trailside.
The ticket price is $50. If you opt for a tent camping spot at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds, the cost is $10. If you opt for an RV camping spot with electricity at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds for Saturday night, the cost is $35. Shirts are available for pre-order for $10 at registration.
COVID-19 MITIGATION

Your health and safety are our number one one priority. Here are some things you need to consider before the event:
Advance registration only to avoid contact with our staff. It’s fast, easy and safe.
No admittance to anyone that is not a registered participant or event staff
Be prepared to take your trash home with you.
Facility closes at 6 p.m. or immediately after completion of activity.
The CDC recommends persons who are sick with fever or cough, elderly or at high risk to stay at home. Please do not attend our event if this applies to you.
Please take your temperature before you leave home. If you have a temperature of at least 100.4, you have a fever. You should stay home.
If you know you have had contact with someone diagnosed with having COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home.
Respect our local community – wear gloves and wash hands when supporting our local businesses.
We know this all sounds awful, but it’s for your safety and all concerned.
DURING THE EVENT

Please observe the following IMPORTANT guidelines at all times during the event:
Practice social distancing – stand 6’ apart
Wear facemasks when closer than 6’ of others
Use our hand sanitizer and handwashing stations often
Park no less than 10’ apart from your neighbor
If you are sick, please go home
If you start to feel sick, go home and call your doctor
If you are considered high risk, stay home and ride with us when it’s safe to do so
When not riding, please maintain social distancing
Don’t roam or visit your neighbors – use your phone
“Leave No Trace” – Take your trash home with you
Campfires are prohibited under the circumstances
Avoid touching your face
FACILITY ADMISSION
Drive-through entrance only; participants remain in vehicle
Staff wear face mask and gloves
Use of hand sanitizer and/or glove change after each vehicle
Guests will be given a handout with the release of liability printed on one-side and social distancing, safe hygiene practices and facility rules on the reverse
PARKING
Vehicles must park leaving no less than 10 feet apart on all sides
Parking will be monitored and enforced throughout day by staff
Guests will be instructed to remain in their chosen pit area unless going to/from registration, concessions or course/route

REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS

In the event that state-mandated group sizes are further restricted between now and August 16, we will refund the ticket price minus the PayPal fee (3.5%).

We will not offer refunds outside of these circumstances.

However, if you decide that you can’t make it, you are entitled to transfer your ticket to another rider. We are not going to manage a wait list directly, but definitely post any available tickets to our Michaux Dual Sport Facebook Event Page or the Del Val Rider Facebook Group. Please manage the transfer of funds on your own, and submit the transfer request online. Our online transfer request link will be posted once registration has sold out.

We can't wait to see you on August 16, 2020 for the 2020 Michaux Dual Sport hosted by the Delaware Valley Trail Riders!

Huh, I didn't get that email for some reason. I'm not sure if I want to hassle with the registration, to be honest.
