I'd like to come back and ride some new single track with you guys. It didn't work out as well for me this time... got there just before lunch on Saturday and couldn't get the timing right to find any groups heading out with the double-secret single track experience. John and I paired up to look for some single track on our own, and did our best, but its not the same as having a larger group that knows all the best trails. Maybe next time!!

Maybe I need to do the Friday night tent thing just to make sure I am there if the best stuff happens earlier on Saturday?
Sometimes with the big groups stuff like that happens. With multiple groups sometimes people get out, (assuming they are riding w/ someone else...)

I'm not a MtRidge expert, I only make it up there like once a year. But I can usually find bumble my way into the singletrack.

Yeah, its on the edge of being just far enough where going up the night before is nice. Else its a long day.

A CRF70 is bigger than a pw and quite a bit heavier. The 110s are then the next size up while staying automatic. Once you get to the 125s/140s that's when you hit regular motorcycle controls with clutch and all. I don't know if the CRF/XR 80 is still produced but those are/were clutch bikes too.

My only problem with electric is run time. Right now, I'll fire the PW up, top it off with fuel and oil, and turn the kids loose. They push it back to the garage when it's out of fuel.

Cool. A CRF70 is probably the right machine to buy next then with a 110 not far behind it. My one buddy just got a 125 and that thing is fun for even me to ride.

Thats great. My kid NEVER rode it till the battery ran out. He was always done with in an hour.

Is there any new single track for this year?
Yes. Kevin cut in some new stuff and finished off the trail he started last year. I didn't get to ride all the new stuff but the one he finished (that comes off of shamrock) is my current favorite.
Great. I'll have to organize another MtRidge ride/trip later this year.
I'd be totally down for that!

Sorry you missed out. For the reunion ride it's as much about the camp fire as it is the riding. For just a trip out to ride we could meet at a set time. I'd love to go back for a Saturday or Sunday this summer!

We went form a 50 to an 80 for the real clutch. A little bigger than the 70 though.

Much bigger than a PW50.

I have two, and I need a least one replacement before I sell both, but for DAMN riders I would give a better deal that I would people from the public.

Thanks,
