The link above is by far the easiest way into and out of the campsite.

1. Head west on I-68 W 407 ft
2. Take exit 68 for Orleans Rd 0.2 mi
3. Turn left at Orleans Rd NE 5.8 mi
4. Turn right at Oldtown Orleans Rd SE 0.2 mi
5. Turn right to stay on Oldtown Orleans Rd SE 2.8 mi
6. Slight right to stay on Oldtown Orleans Rd SE 0.9 mi
7. Turn left to stay on Oldtown Orleans Rd SE 2.5 mi
8. Turn right at Mertens Ave 1.1 mi


The entrance to g7 will be on the right, before where mertens crosses the orv trail (stafford rd) with your trailer it will probally be easiest to go to the overlook at the interesection of mertens and stafford and then turn around and come back down into the g7 drive way which would then be on your left.

I got out for the first time last weekend on the 950, haven't turned a wheel yet on the Husky this year. The Dr. hasn't cleared me to ride but WTF. I'll be there Thursday with the same stuff as last year. The weather looks GR8.

Rob/Ken ... the Mertens Ave G7 entrance might be a good place to park Rob's, Sallydog's, my and other trailer rigs.

Woo hoo! As soon as I get out of work today I'm going to haul ass home and get loaded up. I'll be at the camsite just after 3pm tomorrow, ready to set-up, cut firewood and RIDE!

Here's a classic good-news bad-new deal: I'm in town for a family emergency, but next weekend is free. Kyler talked me into coming out to GR to at least hang out.

Since I'm living out of a suitcase for 3 weeks, so.... no bike, no camping gear, and no riding gear. I think my family may camping gear to borrow tho.

I'll be ready and waiting. I got the Oddysee running but not that great, not sure I want to bring it just to have to tow it off the trail. I will see how I feel about it in the AM.
